All pieces are handmade to order, and will be ready for despatch in 10 - 21 days, but there may very occasionally be times when it is necessary to allow more time for making (such as unusual fabric requests on Bespoke/Colour-Matched orders etc) - should that be the case, we will notify you as soon as possible with an expected despatch date.

 

You should allow a further 1-3 days for the actual shipping time by Royal Mail/courier (UK) or 4-7 days (Europe) or 7-14 days (Worldwide) depending on your destination country, and the shipping service chosen.

 

We always email you with the name of the shipper, and the tracking number.

SINAMAY

A natural plain weave straw fabric made from a plant similar to the banana plant, most sinamay is made by small producers in the Philippines - we buy Fairtrade sinamay wherever possible (according to availability).

LOOKING FOR A DIFFERENT COLOUR?

This hat can be made from plain coloured sinamay with the same flower spray and quill trimming for £320.

This hat can also be made from an alternative colour of Swiss Straw braid or Paper Straw - please CONTACT Sally to discuss possibilities.

 

COLOUR SAMPLES

If you'd like to see a colour of braid, or sinamay before ordering, we can send you up to 3 samples free of charge. Please allow up to 7 days for these to arrive.

Simply CONTACT Sally with your requirements and postal address.

 

SPECIAL ORDERS and COLOUR-MATCHING

If you require a hat or headpiece made to match a colour exactly - we require a sample of the colour to match to - this can be a piece of the cloth or a smaple from a paint colour chart. We can source materials and alternative fabrics, and can hand-dye most materials and feathers.

There is an additional charge for hand-dyeing/sourcing/matching.

(Dyeing is not possible for felt hats).

You can order using the SPECIAL ORDER choice from the colour menu (this option includes the dyeing/sourcing charge) and then you can add a comment in the "NOTES" box or CONTACT us with further details.
