Hat Hen Parties - headpiece-making parties
A great way for you and your friends to make a beautiful headpiece to wear on your special day.
Tailor-made hat-making parties held in a venue of your choice –
at home, on location, or in The Edinburgh Hat Studio.

Sally will host a hat-making workshop in her spacious sunny studio showroom, right in the heart of Edinburgh, where you can create a unique headpiece to your own design. Choose from a selection of gorgeous feathers, sinamay, beads and veiling, in a wide choice of colours. Don't worry, you don't have to be good at sewing to have a wonderful time and a good giggle! – no experience is necessary - and full support is given. The building is wheelchair accessible, and has a lift.
Perfect - for your wedding, The Races, Christmas, birthday, or special occasion.
Alternatively, Sally will come to your home, or a venue of your choosing, with a fabulous box of delights. You will need enough table space/elbow room for everyone to work, and a table for Sally to lay out the materials.

Minimum number per booking is 5. For parties on location, contact Sally for a quote. *Discounts given for parties of over 10.

INCLUDED IN THE PRICE:
• Tuition, all materials, and use of all necessary equipment
• A celebratory glass of fizz at the end of the workshop (Silver and Gold only - please ask for more details)
• A selection of teas & coffee with delicious biscuits and/or cake, served in a gorgeous vintage tea-set (Silver and Gold only).
WORKSHOPS

BRONZE workshop: lasts 2 hours.
SILVER workshop: lasts 3 hours, greater choice of techniques and materials, with a break in the middle for tea and biscuits (or elderflower fizz and shortbread on location).
​
GOLD workshop: lasts 3½ hours, as per Silver, but with an additional selection of luxury materials, and with a break in the middle for tea, biscuits and cake (or elderflower fizz, shortbread & cake on location).

ADDITIONAL DELIGHTS
A package can be tailored especially for you - extra features include sandwiches/afternoon tea, french macaroons, a make-up artist, and/or a photographer, to record the day and provide a lasting memory for you. Prices are dependent on package required.
