PMA Craft Fair - Philadelphia

After months of hard work Sally has crossed the Atlantic to exhibit her work at the Philadelphia Museum of Art's prestigious annual Craft Show. She joins 24 other Scottish designers who were selected by Craft Scotland to represent Scotland as this year's guest country for the show. Sally has taken this fabulous opportunity to create some new pieces to be seen for the first time at this event along with her new collections of handbags and purses available in beautiful hand selected leathers and Harris Tweed.

Contemporary Craft Fair at Bovey Tracey

Many thanks to everyone who came to The Comtemporary Craft Fair at Bovey Tracey and made it such a success (inspite of the rain!). It was lovely to meet up with some of my clients again, to meet new ones, and to spend time with some fellow makers from across the UK.

Scottish Parliament Reception and Exhibition

As one of the lead artists working with children and young people on the Developing Global Citizens Project with Learning Teaching Scotland, Sally has been invited to a reception and exhibition at the Scottish Parliament to celebrate it's success.

Rigoletto

Sally has created some new hats for Scottish Opera's highly acclaimed production of 'Rigoletto' (production design by Jon Morrell), which will be touring Scotland during May and June.

Dressed To Kilt

One of Sally's hats was modelled by Jennifer Wayne (songwriter and artist with Stealing Angels, and granddaughter of film legend John Wayne) at the 'Dressed To Kilt' Fashion Show earlier this month in New York, hosted by Sir Sean Connery.

Philadelphia Craft Show

Sally is delighted to announce that she has been selected to exhibit at the prestigious Philadelphia Museum of Art - Craft Show in November of this year.

Contemporary Craft Fair at Bovey Tracey

Sally has been selected once again to exhibit at The Contemporary Craft Fair at Bovey Tracey in Devon in June this year.

Sally has been asked to create some new pieces for the 'Dressed To Kilt' Fashion Show on 5th April in New York, hosted by Sir Sean Connery.

In The Company of Wolves

Sally is delighted to be showing some of her hats at the 'In The Company of Wolves' multi-media Fashion show at The Sub Club in Glasgow on Wednesday 10th November, with some of Scotland's top independent designers. Tickets are £10 with all profits going to Glasgow Women's' Aid.

Marriage of Figaro

Sally has just completed work on the hats and headwear for Scottish Opera's beautiful new production of 'The Marriage of Figaro' which tours across Scotland during November. Directed by the internationally renowned baritone Sir Thomas Allen, and designed by Simon Higlett - a designer of excellent international acclaim.

Sally is working on her new Spring Summer 2011 collection, collaborating with talented womenswear designer Sara Shimasue. Sally will be showing her hats and accessories, and Sara her garments, together at a joint catwalk show and exhibition at London Fashion Week in September. New Collections available now

The new Couture Collection for A/W 2010 ‘Kaleidoscope’, and the new interseasonal ‘In The Limelight’ collection are now available through the online boutique. ‘Hat–a-tat–tat’

Sally is delighted to be featured in a new book just published called ‘A Girls’ Guide to Vintage’ by fashion writer and stylist Lynne McCrossan.

Sally had a very successful show at the Contemporary Craft Fair at Bovey Tracey in Devon, many thanks to all who came.

One of Sally’s Hepburn Cameo hats was selected by fashion writer and stylist Lynne McCrossan author of ‘A Girls’ Guide to Vintage’ and was worn by the multi-talented Lou Hickey from Velvet Codeine Clubon STV’s ‘The Hour’.

Sally has been selected to exhibit at The Contemporary Craft Fair - Bovey Tracey in Devon from the 11th - 13th June 2010.

Dressed to Kilt - New York

Sally is delighted to have been invited to create two exciting new headpieces for the 'Dressed To Kilt' Fashion Show hosted by Sir Sean Connery in New York on April 5th. They will modelled on the catwalk by some of America's and Scotland's top celebrities, actors, models and sportspeople in aid of charity.

The Gin Palace Collective - Glasgow

Sally is looking forward to exhibiting at the second Gin Palace Collective event - "Details To Follow" which will be held in Glasgow at 12-16 Frederick Street, from the 9th - 11th April. The event aims to showcase the most innovative yet functional design that Scotland has to offer and provides an opportunity to meet and buy direct from the makers. Head Over Heels Exhibition

Sally will be exhibiting in the 'Head Over Heels' exhibition at New Brewery Arts in Cirencester from the 6th March - 18th April 2010 and you can meet her during her four day residency there from Monday March 29th until Thursday 1st April where she will be working on some new pieces.
