Size guide

Many of the hats and headpieces in the Boutique are small easy to wear pieces which are either secured with an elastic, or mounted on a comb or a hairband and will fit all head sizes. To ensure a perfect look for the Couture pieces we dye hat elastics and hairbands to match your hair colour so they blend in, so when ordering you will be asked to choose the colour you wish.

Where sizing is important there will be a selection of headsizes to choose from. Each piece is made individually so we can size hats to fit on request.

Measuring your head

Take a measuring tape and place it around the circumference of the head, slightly above the eyebrows and ears. Wrap tape gently around head making certain tape lies midway on your occipital bone (that little bump in the middle of the back of your head). The tape should feel comfortable, not too tight and not too loose, just the way you want the hat to fit.

If your measurement falls between sizes it is better to choose the larger size.
